Cooperation Agreement Signed Between NSSF and Karate Federation to Promote Karate in Schools

The Nepal School Sports Federation (NSSF) and the Nepal Karate Federation have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting, developing, and expanding karate at the school level. In a program held on Tuesday, Yubaraj Lama, President of the Nepal Karate Federation, and Binod Shrestha, President of the NSSF, signed the agreement. This partnership aims to enhance karate participation in competitions organized by both the NSSF and the International School Sport Federation.

Kathmandu, 19 August – The Nepal School Sports Federation (NSSF) and the Nepal Karate Federation have entered into a collaboration agreement. According to NSSF General Secretary Rajkumar Karki, this cooperation intends to promote, develop, and expand karate among schools, while making karate participation in competitions under both the NSSF and the International School Sport Federation (ISF) more impactful.

General Secretary Karki stated that this agreement represents a significant step toward the development and expansion of karate at national and international levels in Nepal. Emphasizing grassroots development for school athletes, the partnership will focus on regular competitions, talent identification, equal opportunities, and providing international experience to produce disciplined, confident athletes destined to become future champions.
