Malaysia Sets Nepal a Target of 233 Runs in Practice Match

As part of preparations for the ACC Premier Cup, Malaysia has set Nepal a target of 233 runs in a practice match. Winning the toss, Malaysia elected to bat first and were all out for 232 runs in 48.2 overs. Muhammad Syahadat Ramli contributed a solid 61 runs for Malaysia. Saifullah Malik scored 45, Syed Aziz made 40, and Virandeep Singh added 39 runs.

Nepal’s captain Sandeep Lamichhane took 4 wickets for 36 runs in 10 overs. Karan KC claimed 2 wickets, while Lalit Rajbanshi and Dipendra Singh Aire each took 1 wicket. Prior to arriving in Malaysia, Nepal had won two practice matches against Karnataka in India.
