Nominees Announced for Four Categories of Pulsar Sports Awards 2082

14 Bhadra, Kathmandu – The Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) has announced the nominations for the Pulsar Sports Awards 2082 in four categories: Best Male Player, Best Female Player, Best Youth Player, and Best Coach of the Year. The award ceremony will take place in Kathmandu on Bhadra 18, where winners from these four categories, along with a total of nine categories, will be honored.

For the Best Male Player category, the nominees include Dipendra Singh Airee (Cricket), Sombahadur Kumal (Athletics), Chandra Thapa (Boxing), Pradeep Baijali Magar (Karate), and Sadbhaw Acharya (Golf). In the Best Female Player category, the nominees are Savitra Bhandari (Football), Erika Gurung (Karate), Sanumaya Thing, Sabina Shrestha, and Santoshi Shrestha (Athletics).

Meanwhile, the Youth Player nominations feature Arpil Rana (Boxing), Rehan Javed (Karate), Manisha Kumari Bohora (Karate), Purushottam Silwal (Chess), and Raunak Srivastav (Cricket).

For the Best Coach of the Year category, the nominees are Deepak Maharjan (Boxing), Kushal Shrestha (Karate), Mandekaji Shrestha (Karate), Stuart L (Cricket), and Puran Singh Khatri (Blind Women’s Cricket). Karate dominates the nominations, with eight players and coaches across four categories nominated.
