Nepal A Team Defeated by Tasmania in One-Day Cricket Match

Nepal A team suffered a narrow 2-wicket defeat against Tasmania in a one-day cricket match held on Wednesday. Tasmania successfully chased down the target of 193 runs set by Nepal in the final over, losing 8 wickets in the process. Nepal A was bowled out for 192 runs in 43.3 overs, with Tritaraj Das top-scoring with 37 runs.

For Tasmania, Tom Dyer scored the highest with 60 runs, followed by Rafe Macmillan with 32, Justin Gallotti with 24, and both Will Prestwich and Matthew Kuhnemann contributing 23 runs each. Among Nepal A bowlers, Shahab Alam and Deepak Dumre took 2 wickets apiece, while Akash Chand, Rijan Dhakal, and Pawan Sarraf claimed one wicket each.

Batting first after losing the toss, Nepal A was dismissed for 192 in 43.3 overs. Besides Tritaraj Das’s 37 runs, Mayan Yadav added 32, Kushal Malla scored 29, and Pawan Sarraf remained undefeated on 22 runs. Previously, Nepal had also competed in the Top End T20 Series, winning only 2 out of 6 matches. Nepal A is scheduled to play one-day matches against South Australia on Friday and New Zealand A on Sunday.
