Rubin Mahajan and Sanyog Kapali Exit in Second Round of Table Tennis Men’s Doubles

In the table tennis men’s doubles event, Rubin Mahajan and Sanyog Kapali were defeated 3–0 by Japan’s Sora Matsushima and Shunsuke Togami, resulting in their exit from the second round. The Japanese pair secured the win by taking the sets 11–1, 11–1, and 11–5, advancing to the next stage.

Kathmandu, September 25 – During the 20th Asian Games, Nepal’s Rubin Mahajan and Sanyog Kapali were eliminated in the second round of the men’s doubles table tennis competition. The match, held on Friday at Sky Hall Toyota, saw the Nepali duo falling in straight sets 0–3 against the Japanese pair Sora Matsushima and Shunsuke Togami.

Earlier, both Rubin Mahajan and Sanyog Kapali had been eliminated in the first round of the men’s singles events as well. Consequently, Nepal was unable to secure any medals in the table tennis competitions.
