NASA Releases Video of Artemis-2 Orbiting the Moon and Returning to Earth

A video capturing the Artemis-2 spacecraft completing its orbit around the Moon and returning to Earth has been released. NASA published a new 7-minute video of its Artemis-2 mission showing the spacecraft re-entering Earth’s atmosphere after circling the Moon. The footage features the spacecraft’s atmospheric entry and the deployment of the astronauts’ parachutes just before splashdown in the ocean.

The Artemis-2 mission, conducted last April, involved nearly 10 days of travel around the Moon. Recently, NASA has made data from this space mission available to the scientific community and the public to support further research and study.
