September 3, Kathmandu – In response to the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and businesspeople in transporting and supplying essential materials amid difficult circumstances caused by a disaster, the Nepal Chamber of Commerce has established a facilitation desk.

The facilitation desk has been set up at the Chamber’s secretariat in Jamal. The closure of key roadways, including the Prithvi Highway and other major transportation networks, has disrupted supply chains and transportation for industrialists and business operators, prompting the establishment of this desk.

Through this desk, coordination will be enhanced among relevant government bodies, local administrations, security agencies, commercial entities, and transport operators to resolve potential challenges in the delivery of relief materials.

Additionally, the Chamber has assured that all possible support will be provided to facilitate smooth passage for vehicles carrying essential goods.
