Rakesh Manandhar Loses Bronze Medal Match at Asian Games

At the ongoing 20th Asian Games in Japan, Nepal’s Rakesh Manandhar was defeated by Malaysia’s Thevendran Kaliyana Sundaram 9–1 in the men’s kumite 55 kg bronze medal bout. The match took place at the Toyohashi Gymnasium in Japan.
