20th Asian Games: Nepali Karateka Nirupa Exits in Quarterfinals

At the 20th Asian Games currently underway in Japan, Nepal’s karate athlete Nirupa Dong Tamang has been eliminated in the quarterfinals of the women’s kumite 68kg category. On Monday, at the Toyohashi City General Gymnasium, Nirupa suffered a 3–0 defeat against Li Wong Chuk.

In the women’s kumite 68kg weight class, Nepal’s Erica Gurung has advanced to the semifinals and remains unbeaten so far.
