Nepal Loses Toss and Opts to Bat First Against Canada

In the first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 ODI series taking place in Oman, Nepal lost the toss to Canada and decided to bat first. Following Oman’s victory over Canada, Nepal’s chances of finishing in the top four have ended, shifting their focus to retaining their ODI status.

On the League 2 points table, Nepal currently stands seventh with 24 points from 32 matches, while Canada holds sixth place with 25 points from 33 matches. The match started at 11:15 AM at Oman Cricket Academy Turf 1, where Canada won the toss and gave Nepal the opportunity to bat first. This game is significant for both teams as they are in the final phase of League 2. Oman had defeated Canada in the opening match of the series.
