Congress General Secretary Paudel Announces Four Resolutions for the New Year

April 14, Kathmandu – Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Paudel has unveiled four new resolutions on the occasion of the New Year. Through a greeting message shared on social media, he expressed his commitment to dedicate his efforts to four key areas, considering the country’s changing circumstances and the expectations of its citizens.

He emphasized resolving all internal party differences through dialogue and working continuously to transform the Congress into a unified, modern, and technology-driven party grounded in law and procedures. He also pledged to integrate the innovative dreams and ideas of the new generation into the party’s mainstream.

Paudel committed to making a knowledge-based economy and youth entrepreneurship central topics in the national debate, focusing on concrete policy leadership and implementation to create dignified opportunities for young people within the country.

In his third resolution, he stated, ‘I will implement a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, redirect politics towards public service and ethics, and play an effective role in result-oriented and structural reforms on issues of common concern such as inflation control, quality education, and accessible healthcare.’

Furthermore, he expressed his dedication to fostering minimum common ground among all political parties to ensure the nation’s long-term interests, political stability, economic prosperity, and the balanced development of international relations by assuming a responsible and coordinating role.
