Nepal Women Unity Society Urges Against Forced Eviction of Homeless Squatters

The Nepal Women Unity Society has urged authorities not to remove homeless squatters without providing alternatives. Kathmandu, April 24. In a statement, the society expressed concern over the Prime Minister’s directive to clear the squatter settlements. The society strongly condemned this harsh decision affecting women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities living in those settlements.
