Man with 37 Cases including Gold and Silver Theft Arrested

Santosh Ranabhatt, a resident of Ramjakot in Rishing Rural Municipality-5, Tanahun, and currently living in Tokha, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3, has been arrested on charges of stealing gold and silver. He has been involved in various crimes since 2004 BS and has 37 cases registered against him. During the arrest, it was found that he faces 22 charges of misconduct, 13 charges of theft, 1 charge related to illegal possession of weapons, and 1 drug-related case.

According to the Religious Police, he was arrested for stealing gold and silver jewelry from a house in the Kalopul area of Kathmandu. The investigation revealed that he has been engaged in criminal activities since 2004 BS and has 37 cases filed against him to date. Among these, there are 22 counts of misconduct, 13 theft cases, 1 weapon-related case, and 1 drug-related case.
