Donald Trump Claims to Have Ended 9 Wars; Now Aims to End Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Former US President Donald Trump has claimed responsibility for ending nine international conflicts to date. He announced a three-day ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war, scheduled from May 9 to 11, expressing confidence that the conflict will come to a halt during this period. Trump revealed that Russia and Ukraine have agreed to exchange 1,000 prisoners each and suggested the ceasefire could be extended.

Kathmandu, April 26 – According to Trump, his efforts will now bring an end to the Russia-Ukraine war, which he hopes will mark his tenth peace initiative. Prior to departing the White House for Virginia, he described the ongoing conflict as the most dangerous war since World War II, highlighting that thousands of soldiers continue to perish every month, as reported by news agency ANI.

Meanwhile, through social media, Trump declared a three-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine from May 9 to 11. During this time, both sides are expected to refrain from military actions and facilitate the exchange of 1,000 prisoners each. Trump’s claim includes assurances that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have agreed to his appeal. He further noted that if conditions remain favorable, the temporary ceasefire could be extended for a longer duration.
