Seventh Session of Madhesh Provincial Assembly Convened

The seventh session of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly has been convened for 11 a.m. on Friday, 1 Jestha. The Provincial Head called the session under Clause (1) of Article 183 of the Constitution upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers. Narayan Prasad Dahal, Secretary to the Provincial Head, confirmed the convening of the session. Kathmandu, 28 Baisakh – Following the recommendation of the Madhesh Provincial Government, the Office of the Provincial Head issued a press release on Monday announcing the commencement of the Provincial Assembly session at 11 a.m. on Friday, 1 Jestha. The Council of Ministers meeting held today recommended the Provincial Head to call the session. Acting on this recommendation, the Provincial Head convened the session in accordance with Clause (1) of Article 183 of the Constitution, Secretary Narayan Prasad Dahal stated.
