
Government Forms Committee to Investigate Sudin Gurung
The government has established a committee to study and investigate public concerns raised during and after the tenure of former Home Minister Sudin Gurung. In the Cabinet meeting held on 28th Baishakh 2083 (Nepali calendar), it was decided to form a committee chaired by former High Court Justice Achyut Prasad Bhandari.
The committee will include Comptroller General Shobha Kant Paudel and Joint Attorney General Achyut Mani Neupane as members. The committee has been entrusted with the responsibility to thoroughly examine the publicly raised issues related to former Home Minister Gurung and submit a report with recommendations to the government within 15 days.
