Young Man Arrested for Persistently Harassing Renowned Singer

May 21, Kathmandu – Police have arrested a young man accused of repeatedly causing unnecessary distress and persistent harassment to a well-known singer through various means. The 22-year-old Ajay Yadav was apprehended in Birgunj in coordination with the District Police Office of Parsa. Yadav is a permanent resident of Devtal Rural Municipality-2 in Bara district. The singer had filed a complaint against him in Kathmandu. Preliminary investigations based on the complaint revealed that Yadav repeatedly harassed the singer by calling her from multiple phone numbers over an extended period. The police have stated that Yadav will be brought to Kathmandu for further investigation and necessary legal procedures. Additional investigations into the case are ongoing.
