Secretary Krishnahari Pushkar Questioned by Police and Released

Police took Secretary Krishnahari Pushkar into custody for questioning before releasing him. The Valley Crime Investigation Office team conducted the interrogation following orders from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. The police thoroughly questioned Secretary Krishnahari Pushkar. A team dispatched from the Valley Crime Investigation Office in Teku temporarily detained him on Thursday for interrogation, according to a source from the Ministry of Home Affairs. His detention was carried out under instructions from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. However, the police have not disclosed the subject of the questioning. The source added that after determining there was insufficient basis to initiate any case, he was released following the interrogation. “There was a direct order to take him in. He was detained for questioning on certain matters but was released after the process,” the source said.
