Kejriwal States: Cockroach Movement Symbolizes Indian Youths’ Anger and Despair
May 6, Kathmandu – Arvind Kejriwal, National Convener of India’s Aam Aadmi Party, described the protests by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) as a manifestation of the deep anger among Indian youth. In a response shared on the social media platform X on Saturday, Kejriwal affirmed his party’s full support for the demands of the CJP. “This Cockroach movement is a clear expression of the profound anger and frustration that exists among the youth across the country,” Kejriwal stated. “Instead of labeling them as anti-national, the Modi government should take initiatives to address their issues.”
Kejriwal further added that his party will support the demands put forth by the CJP and suggested that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should immediately remove Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Meanwhile, the CJP is conducting a massive demonstration today at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. Notably, this morning, CJP founder Abhijit Dipak returned to India from the United States.
