Laliguras and Himrashmi Advance to Semifinals of National Volleyball Tournament

Laliguras, Himrashmi, Kalyan, and Newton have advanced to the semifinals of the second National Open Angels Heart Inter-School Boys Volleyball Competition. According to the event’s vice principal, Dilbahadur Budhathoki, the semifinal matches will be between Newton and Kalyan, and Laliguras and Himrashmi.

In matches held on Monday, Laliguras defeated Saint Lawrence with set scores of 25–20, 23–25, and 17–15. Himrashmi overcame the hosts, Angels Heart School, in straight sets, 27–25 and 25–20. Kalyan and Newton also secured their semifinal spots. Kalyan defeated Greenfield with scores of 23–25, 25–17, and 15–5, while Newton beat Chanakya 25–21 and 25–22 in straight sets.

The competition will conclude on Tuesday, with the top three teams receiving cash prizes of 50,000, 30,000, and 15,000 rupees respectively. Outstanding players in categories such as best player, spiker, lifter, server, blocker, and defender will also be honored with cash awards.
