Industry and Commerce Federation Appoints Advisors, Chairpersons for Councils and Committees

June 22, Kathmandu — The second Executive Committee meeting of the Nepal Industry and Commerce Federation held on Monday appointed chairpersons of various councils and committees, including advisors.
Federation President Anjan Shrestha named former president Maheshlal Pradhan as Chairperson of the Advisory Committee and former president Kushkumar Joshi as Chairperson of the Expertise Council.
Similarly, Krishna Prasad Sharma, Vice President for the district and metropolitan area sector of the federation, was appointed Chairperson of the Industry and Commerce Council, with Dilsundar Shrestha, also Vice President for the district and metropolitan sector, appointed as Co-Chairperson. Naresh Lal Shrestha, Vice President of the Sectoral Association Group, was appointed Chairperson of the Sectoral Council, and Prabal Jung Pandey, Vice President of the Associate Members Group, was appointed Chairperson of the Employers’ Council.
In addition, Shivprasad Ghimire was appointed Chairperson of the Agriculture Enterprise Center; Araniko Rajbhandari to the Tax and Revenue Committee; Ujjwal Shrestha to the Industry Committee; Naveen Rijal to the Trade Committee; and Sunita Nemafuki to the Women Entrepreneurs Development Committee.
Sunaina Ghimire was appointed Chairperson of the Information and Communication Technology Development Committee; Lilendra Prasad Pradhan to the Land Transport and Freight Committee; Sangharsha Bist to the Tourism and Air Transport Committee; Hemant Golchha to the Bank, Financial and Insurance Committee; Hom Prasad Ghimire to the Export Committee; and Sabin Shrestha to the Trade Fair Committee.
Vidur Dhamala was appointed Chairperson of the Urban Development Committee; Biplav Adhikari for the Health Science Committee; Naniraj Ghimire for the Skills Development and Employment Committee; Sahara Joshi for the Startup and Innovation Committee; Priyaraj Regmi for the Capital Market Committee; Rajkumar Karki for the Social Service Committee; and Rabin Puri for the Productivity and Quality Committee.
President Anjan Shrestha made these appointments in accordance with Article 37 of the Federation’s bylaws. He expressed the expectation that the appointed chairpersons will play a vital role in strengthening the image and reputation of the federation.
