Voting to Take 7 to 10 Minutes Per Person; Results to Be Announced Within 2 Hours

June 24, Kathmandu – The National Independent Party (Rashwap) is currently holding its general convention. Following the conclusion of the convention’s closed session, the election process is now underway. According to party spokesperson Manish Jhaka, voting will commence at 7:30 pm today. A total of 75 electronic voting machines have been prepared for the process. Jhaka stated that it will take approximately 7 to 10 minutes for each individual to cast their vote for central committee members.

The Central Election Commission has estimated that the entire voting process will take around four hours. After voting concludes, results are expected to be announced within about two hours, Jhaka added. He further noted, “We are preparing to release the central committee members’ results between 1 and 2 am.”
