May 12, Kathmandu – The Nepali Embassy in Kuwait has called upon Nepalis living in Kuwait and Iraq to maintain heightened security awareness in view of the local security conditions.
Through an official statement, the embassy has urged the Nepali community to fully comply with the directives and information issued by the relevant authorities in Kuwait and Iraq.
Additionally, the embassy has requested avoiding sharing unauthorized or misleading information on social media and refraining from engaging in activities prohibited by government agencies.
The embassy strongly emphasized refraining from photographing or filming any aerial attacks, defense operations, or related incidents and from uploading such material on social media platforms. It highlighted that compliance with rules and directives issued by the Kuwaiti government is mandatory.
Furthermore, the embassy advised keeping away from suspicious or unfamiliar objects. Upon hearing sirens, those outside are instructed to seek shelter in nearby secure buildings, and those inside are to remain in safe areas within the structure. It also cautioned against staying near windows or glass during such times.
Likewise, Nepalis in Kuwait are encouraged to contact the embassy for any consular services or other assistance they may require.
