
70-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Tipper in Morang
A 70-year-old pedestrian, Bishnumaya Magar, died during treatment after being hit by a tipper in Kerabari, Morang. According to the Central Police Information Desk of Nepal Police Headquarters, the incident occurred on the road at Shanti Chowk, Ward 5 of Kerabari Rural Municipality, when a tipper bearing registration number KO 1 Kha 6790, traveling from Kerabari toward Dharan, struck the pedestrian. Magar, who was seriously injured in the accident, passed away while receiving treatment at Ghopa Dharan Hospital. The police have taken the tipper driver into custody and are conducting the necessary investigation into the accident.
Similarly, in Sunsari’s Inaruwa Municipality-8, Khoriya Tol, a 14-year-old Krishna Sah drowned in the Puthaudhara Khola. The police found his body while continuing the search after receiving information that he went missing by drowning while bathing. The authorities are also investigating this incident.
