Medal-Winning Table Tennis Players Depart for Thailand
Gold medalists from the 7th ITT Table Tennis Competition and the 42nd National Table Tennis Championship departed for Bangkok, Thailand, on Monday. Mahesh Shrestha, Diksha Dahal, Ranoj Thaku, and silver medalist Alex Maharjan received this travel package as a reward from ITT Table Tennis. However, Sanjog Kapali, the gold medalist of the 42nd national competition, could not join the Bangkok tour as he is currently training in South Korea.
The athletes are gold medalists of the team event organized by ITT. ITT had announced a five-day Bangkok tour package for members of the gold-winning team as well as gold and silver medalists of the 42nd National Table Tennis Championship. Accordingly, the players were granted this package.
The players were seen off at Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday by ITT President Suman Khadgi, winners of the 6th edition of ITT Table Tennis Rajendra Bajracharya, Anita Maharjan, Mukesh Maharjan, and others. President Khadgi expressed his belief that the opportunity would provide the players with a refreshing environment to relax.
