Cockroach People’s Party Spokesperson Firmly Rejects Education Minister’s Resignation

7 Shrawn, Kathmandu – Saurav Das, the chief spokesperson of the Cockroach People’s Party, has firmly stated that there will be no compromise regarding the resignation of the Education Minister. He said, “I have spoken with Sonam Wangchuk several times today. He has appealed to all protesters to maintain peace and to conduct the demonstration in a proper and nonviolent manner. In this country, during previous protests, antisocial elements have been infiltrated by the ruling party, and subsequently, the blame has been placed on the movement. This should not happen.”

Das also responded to Central Minister JP Nadda’s comments during a press council or press conference. He said, “JP Nadda should feel ashamed. People have been sitting on a sit-in for more than 30 days, yet he claims that there should be no politics involved. There will be no compromise on the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan; he must step down. Until then, this movement will continue.” Earlier, Central Minister JP Nadda had accused opposition parties of trying to gain political advantage from this movement during a press conference. Nadda stated, “We are ready for dialogue. Let there be deep and meaningful discussions. The parliament is the appropriate place to deliberate thoroughly. Let us move forward with concrete policies because children are the future of the country. This responsibility lies not only with the government but also with the opposition.”
