March 24, Kathmandu – To ensure citizen-friendly service delivery, Additional Inspector General (AIG) Ishwar Karki, head of the Kathmandu Valley Police Office at Ranipokhari, has issued clear directives.
AIG Karki conveyed these instructions to the chiefs of the Kathmandu District Police Office and their subordinate divisions, precincts, and units. He emphasized delivering police services that are friendly to citizens while firmly bringing illegal activities into compliance with the law.
During an inspection visit to the Bhadrakali police station on Tuesday, AIG Karki highlighted that the Kathmandu district houses VIPs and VVIPs and contains vital installations, urging staff to perform their duties with competence.
Considering future challenges, he also directed enhancing the effectiveness of information gathering and utilizing technology and police resources efficiently to maintain the security of the Kathmandu Valley.
