
Anjan Bist Launches Own Training Center and Announces ‘Next Gen Boot Camp’
National football team striker Anjan Bist has established the ‘Anjan Bist Training Center’ in Lalitpur and announced a 10-day ‘Next Gen Boot Camp’ for players aged 8 to 16. The camp will be held from Chaitra 21 to 30 at the Buddhivikash Football Ground, featuring training sessions led by AFC and FIFA-certified coaches, including foreign trainers. Bist emphasized, “The discipline, hard work, and dedication I have learned are the keys to success,” adding, “As long as we are here, football will remain alive.”
At a press conference held on Tuesday, Bist introduced the ‘Anjan Bist Training Center’ and detailed the upcoming youth-focused ‘Next Gen Boot Camp.’ The 10-day camp, scheduled from Chaitra 21 to 30 at Buddhivikash Football Ground, Lalitpur, will target players in the 8 to 16 age group. Training will be conducted daily from 8 to 10 in the morning. Organizers informed that the camp will feature AFC and FIFA-certified coaches along with foreign experts.
The training will emphasize fundamental skills, game discipline, hard work, and endurance. The camp will conclude with practice sessions and a final match. Participants will have the opportunity to meet national players. A fee of NPR 8,500 has been set for participation, which includes a jersey, snacks, certificate, and other gifts. Speaking at the conference, Bist explained that his goal is not only to develop players but also to teach the path to success. “Our aim is to instill discipline and build confidence to overcome defeat within 10 days,” he said. Bist also mentioned his intention to continue competing at a high level for a few more years. He expressed optimism about Nepali football despite its current challenges, stating, “As long as we are here, football will remain alive.”
