Deputy Governor Kiran Pandit Takes Oath of Office and Secrecy

Kiran Pandit, the newly appointed Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, took the oath of office and secrecy before Governor Prof. Dr. Bishwanath Paudel on 24 Chaitra in Kathmandu. Pandit was appointed as Deputy Governor by the Cabinet meeting. During the oath-taking ceremony, Governor Paudel extended his best wishes for a successful tenure.

Pandit began his service as Assistant Director on 2 Magh 2062 BS. He was promoted to Deputy Director in 2068 BS, Director in 2074 BS, and elevated to Executive Director on 1 Falgun 2081 BS. During his tenure as Executive Director, he led the Payment Systems Department and Foreign Exchange Management Department. He had also served as the spokesperson for the Nepal Rastra Bank for some time.
