Nepal ‘A’ team secured a thrilling 3-wicket victory over the United States in a practice match. Chasing a target of 263 runs set by the USA at the Mulpani Cricket Ground, Nepal ‘A’ achieved the total with 7 wickets down and 5 balls to spare. Mayan Yadav led the batting effort for Nepal with a top score of 72 runs, hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes off 80 balls. Other contributors included Tirth Das with 23 runs, Anilkumar Yadav 27, Dev Khanal 17, Sandeep Jora 37, Kushal Malla 33, and Basir Ahmad 18. Pawan Sarraf remained unbeaten on 24, along with Deepak Dumre who was not out on 2 runs.
In the bowling department, Milind Kumar took 2 wickets for the USA, while Sanjay Krishnamurthy, Harmit Singh, Rushil Ugarcar, Nosthus Kenzig, and Shaurabh Netrawalkar claimed one wicket each. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, the USA posted 262 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 50 overs. Opening batsman Smit Patel scored a commanding 116 runs off 108 balls.
