Fifteen Police Officers Killed in Terrorist Attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Fifteen police officers lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Noman Khan, spokesperson for Bannu Medical and Teaching Institute, confirmed that all the deceased were local police personnel. Additionally, three individuals were injured, and their health condition has been reported to be stable and out of danger.

According to earlier reports, a statement issued by the office of Sajjad Khan, police officer of Bannu range, mentioned that twelve bodies were recovered from the rubble of Fateh Khel police station building, while three staff members were rescued alive. Reuters reported that a vehicle loaded with explosives collided with the police outpost located on the outskirts of Bannu city. A security official stated that after the explosion, terrorists entered the police station and opened fire on police officers.
