Nadish Presents 12 Poems at Silicon Valley Event
Poet Nadish presented a total of 12 poems, both new and old, at an event held in Silicon Valley, California, USA. During the Saturday evening event, Nadish recited his poems accompanied by Sanyam Acharya on guitar and piano, Deepak Gautam on guitar, and Pradeep Bist on flute and murcunga. All three musicians are professionals working in the IT sector. The event was organized by the Startup Confluence Lab based in Silicon Valley.
Nadish recited poems titled “Yasto Hunu,” “Bansuri,” “Jhari Parda,” “Ghar Pharkirahes Kohee,” “Achet Sabhyatako Majhbata,” “Rokina Man Chha – Najau Bhanidine Kohee Chhaina,” “Ma Pheri Aunchu,” and “Maun Basna Deu,” among others. The audience requested that he also perform the poems “Himbrishti” and “Trishna.” His contemporary, Gajendra Kutuwal, read one of Nadish’s poems, “Kokun,” aloud during the event.
Speaking at the program, Nadish said, “While I have recited poetry in literary circles before, this time it feels different and joyful to share my poems with senior and contemporary professionals who, like me, have over a decade of experience in the technology field.” Organizer Pradeep Bist commented, “Continuous, repetitive work in the technology sector is tiring. Nadish’s artistic poetry brings us joy filled with nature and spirituality.”
Nadish’s latest poetry collection, Hiyud, is considered a significant achievement. He stated, “Even while working in the IT field, I have maintained my passion for poetry. If my life were only technology, it would be dull. Poetry has brought color to my life.” Born in Rukum, Nadish studied at Pulchowk Engineering College in Lalitpur.
