Coach Bhatt Confident Nepal Volleyball League Will Elevate Nepali Volleyball to New Heights

Chief coach of the Nepal National Volleyball Team, Jagadish Prasad Bhatt, expressed his confidence that the Nepal Volleyball League will elevate Nepali volleyball to new heights. He noted that this professional league will help curb the trend of players migrating abroad. Bhatt emphasized that the success and popularity volleyball has achieved despite limited investment and infrastructure require everyone’s cooperation.

Kathmandu, 31 Ashar – Speaking at the brand ambassador announcement event organized by the Nepal Volleyball League (NVL) franchise team Annapurna Super Kings on Wednesday, Coach Bhatt stated that this league will create a positive environment for both the sport and players. “This league will uplift Nepal’s national sport. The framework is already taking shape creatively,” he remarked.

Bhatt expressed his belief that the NVL will be the best competition in volleyball history. He said that from team owners to everyone involved, strong support is being provided. “With the goal of ‘Together We Achieve More,’ if we all move forward united, we can succeed,” he added. Despite challenges such as low investment and limited infrastructure, volleyball has achieved significant success. The organization of franchise leagues for both men and women will further contribute to the sport’s popularity and development, Bhatt stated.
