First Road Bridge Connecting North Korea and Russia Now Operational

The first road bridge linking North Korea and Russia has become operational. This bridge, built over the Tumen River that marks the border between the two countries, is expected to facilitate the transportation of passengers and goods. North Korea’s state media reported that the bridge will significantly boost tourism and trade. However, some have expressed concerns that the bridge could potentially serve as a covert military supply route for Russia.
