
Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Successfully Conducts Free Health Camp in Rupandehi
Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank organized a free health camp at Durga Devi Secondary School in Siyani 6, Bardahwa, Rupandehi. The camp provided screenings for musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, obstetrics and gynecology issues, ear-nose-throat conditions, internal medicine, as well as dental and oral diseases. More than 600 individuals underwent health examinations, receiving consultations and recommendations from attending doctors. Date: 29 Chaitra, Rupandehi.
The bank held this health camp within the school premises of Durga Devi Secondary School in Siyani 6, Bardahwa, Rupandehi district. Services included assessments for bone and nerve diseases, women’s and maternity health, ENT disorders, internal illnesses, and dental care. The camp was conducted with technical support from Lumbini Hospital, Lumbini Eye Hospital, and Hare Krishna Dental Clinic in Butwal. Over 600 participants benefited from the health check-ups.
The primary objective of this initiative, as stated by the bank, was to assist community members in early detection of health problems, enhance public awareness, and promote preventive healthcare. The participating doctors—Samrat Parajuli, Alok Thaiv, Jeevan Atrey, Anita Pun, Krishnabahadur Shrestha, Bishwo Tulachan, Prakash Bhattarai, and Smita Darlami—provided health examinations, consultations, and necessary advice to the attendees.
Speaking at the event, Bhimprasad Tulachan, Director of the bank, emphasized that such health camps play a vital role in improving community health standards. Hemanta Babu Acharya, Butwal Regional Chief, highlighted that programs like this effectively raise public health awareness.
