Israeli Attack in Lebanon Causes 14 Deaths During Ceasefire Period
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that an Israeli attack resulted in the deaths of 14 people, including two children, and injured 37 others. This attack occurred shortly after a ceasefire between the two countries was extended for three weeks last Thursday. According to the agreement, Israel retains the right to take necessary measures to ensure its security wherever required.
Before the attack, a spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) warned residents of several villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate immediately, citing imminent life-threatening dangers in the area. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the IDF is operating actively and with determination, accusing Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire.
