Crude Oil Prices Rise Again After Iran Rejects Trump’s Claim
March 23, Kathmandu – The volatility in crude oil prices continues due to tensions between Iran and potential conflict. After a significant drop on Monday, Brent crude prices surged back above $100 per barrel on Tuesday.
Brent crude increased by 3.75 percent in Asian markets on Tuesday morning, reaching $103.69 per barrel. On Monday, prices had fallen more than 10 percent.
The decline on Monday followed U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement that the U.S. would not take military action against Iran in the coming days. He also hinted at the possibility of a peace agreement with Iran soon. However, Iran rejected Trump’s assertion, leading to a rebound in oil prices.
