Minister Paudel Directs to Make Muktinath Area Plastic-Free

June 12, Kathmandu – Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadkaraj Paudel, has issued directives to make the Muktinath area plastic-free. According to the ministry, Minister Paudel visited the Muktinath region with the aim of studying the potential for developing religious tourism and upgrading infrastructure.

During the visit, he also interacted with local residents and pilgrims. He instructed proper management of cleanliness in the temple area, including the appropriate handling of footwear, and emphasized the complete elimination of plastic within the region.
